What happens if I am unable to return the vehicle at your base?

So far, before any lock-down, ample time is given to return to your place of residence. In the unlikely event that you will be unable to travel back to either of our bases in Paihia or Christchurch, please get in touch with our team on 021 022 03009 or email

Can I extend my hire during lock-down?

If government requirements allow and you decide to stay on the road during lockdown, we can extend your hire (depending on availability). You will pay the same daily rate as at the time you confirmed your booking for the duration of the lockdown. 

Can I continue travelling if the current alert level permits?

Absolutely. If you are travelling in a geographical area that is in COVID-19 alert level 1 or 2, you can continue doing. Simply follow the governments requirements such as social distancing and contact tracing. You can even extend your hire (depending on availability) if you feel like you want to explore our beautiful backyard!
