Fresh water

After a few days using  fresh water, you need to refill the fresh water tank. It’s easy and won’t take much time. This video shows you how to do it if it’s all new to you.

The fresh water holding tank is 120 liters. This is enough to stay off-grid for about 4 days before filling up again. A lot is depending on how long, and often, you shower for (2 minute showers are the norm!) The average use is 20-22 liters.

You can use the water from the tank to cook, coffee and tea, though we do not recommend using the tank water for drinking without boiling first.
